Adventures Beyond Barriers Foundation (ABBF) is a not-for-profit, based out of Pune, that promotes inclusivity.
Through adventure and outdoor sport initiatives, ABBF provides visibility for Persons with Disability (PwD) and strives to shatter social stereotypes. The organization believes that as a society we need to promote an environment of openness, sensitivity, and empathy towards PwDs. Currently ABBF’s initiatives include marathons, tandem cycling, scuba diving, paragliding, and mountaineering. M2K, as the yearly expedition is known in short, is ABBF’s flagship fund raising event. There are more such marquee events on the cards. Adventure encourages a better sense of understanding among able-bodied individuals and PwDs, as well as society at large. The events are a witness to the camaraderie of sport first hand.
ABBF at Tata Mumbai Marathon 2020
Adventures Beyond Barriers Foundation is the official Inclusion Ally for the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2020. ABBF with it's contingent of Persons with Disability (PwD) and their able bodied allies will be participating in Tata Mumbai Marathon 2020 together to promote the cause of Inclusion.
ABBF Kids Run - 2 Feb 2020
The run is happening in 3 distances and is open for kids with and without disability along with a chance for a parent to run with the kids as well. Children from the age group of 6 to 16 years have the opportunity to run any one of the 4 race categories. Come, participate and lead the way in showing them true inclusion.
