M2K began with this very idea in 2016. Our Founder, Divyanshu Ganatra, decided to embark on a cycling expedition because well, he loves cycling, and he wanted to to open new avenues for millions of people with and without disability to play together and do what the world said is “impossible”. He cycled and cycled how, shattering records and stereotypes by becoming India’s first blind tandem cyclist to cycle from Manali to Khardung La, covering a distance of over 550 kilometres in just eight days.
In 2017, this dream of opening a new avenue of getting people with and without disability to play together came true with your generous support—we took two inclusive batches on the M2K cycling expedition, encouraging our participants to push their boundaries while breaking societal barriers in the process. In August 2018, we created history yet again by taking seven cyclists with disability and 10 able-bodied riders to the mountains, all cycling to the top of the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380 feet. Our accomplishments make headlines every year and in 2019, we are all set to do it again. Not once, but twice.
