A tandem cycle has two seats, two sets of pedals, and one direction. The person in the front steers and sets the pace. The person at the back balances and matches every stroke. And between them is a friendship forged for life. ABBF's tandem rides range from short weekend rides to longer expeditions, all designed with inclusion in mind.
Two people.
One tandem cycle.
Zero barriers.
Tandem cycling pairs a cyclists with and without disabilities and sends them out onto the open road together. For most riders with disabilities, this is a first-time experience. One that they keep coming back to.

ABBF's inclusive tandem cycling experiences are made possible by the generous support of partners who believe that freedom on a bicycle belongs to everyone.
In their own words.
What riders remember.
"Everyone's Everest is different. Sometimes even getting to the start line is a win." These words by Divyanshu Ganatra stayed with me throughout.
What began as a group of strangers turned into a journey of friendship and shared purpose — a 220 km, 3-day inclusive ride, followed by a trek to Vasota Fort alongside incredible persons with disabilities.
ABBF creates opportunities for all of us to challenge our limits and confront our own barriers — whether visible or invisible.
ABBF Inclusive Tandem Cycling
Pune to Vasota – 220 km Tandem Cycling Expedition 2026. This four-day journey from Pune to Vasota, covering nearly 220 kilometers on tandem cycles along with a trek to Vasota Fort, was truly an unforgettable experience. It was wonderful to meet the entire cycling family. From 28th February to 2nd March, we cycled through challenging terrains that felt much like the ups and downs of life itself. Climbing steep ghats, descending winding roads, and navigating rough paths, every member completed the journey with determination and enthusiasm. Despite fatigue, pain, and minor injuries, the entire atmosphere remained joyful and motivating.
I would also like to sincerely thank the ABBF crew members who brought our entire differently-abled group together and helped us successfully complete such a challenging journey, inspiring us to return again and again with renewed enthusiasm.
Special thanks to P. K., D. C., Richa, Chandrakant, and the Tempo support team, whose assistance was truly invaluable.
I look forward to meeting everyone again soon in another unique and exciting adventure activity.
These four days were truly filled with happiness, positivity, and unforgettable memories.
